Located atop MTR Ho Man Tin Station, IN ONE is jointly developed by Chinachem Group and MTR Corporation. Served by both the Tuen Ma Line and Kwun Tong Line, the development offers excellent connectivity across Kowloon and to key urban districts. As Ho Man Tin’s transport network and community amenities continue to evolve, the area is transforming into a well-connected urban residential hub.
Green Building Starts with Materials
As a major integrated residential development, IN ONE has achieved BEAM Plus Gold certification and WELL Building Standard certification, reflecting its commitment to sustainability and occupant wellbeing. According to Chinachem Group’s sustainability report, the Group reduced its operational carbon intensity by 27.7% in 2024 compared with the 2020 baseline, while 100% of its new developments and asset enhancement projects achieved BEAM Plus Gold rating or above.
IN ONE’s green and healthy building positioning therefore aligns with Chinachem Group’s broader commitment to sustainable construction, carbon reduction and healthy community development. For building materials, environmental certification, low VOC emissions, carbon footprint management and sustainable supply chains are key to supporting green building goals—an approach that closely matches OPTIMIX’s product philosophy.
Certified Green Products for Better Indoor Air Quality
o meet the project’s green building requirements, OPTIMIX supplied several products certified under the CIC Green Product Certification (CICGPC) 2.0 at Platinum level, including TA313 Flexible Tile Adhesive, TA328 High Performance Tile Adhesive and TG410E High Performance Coloured Anti-Mould Tile Grout.
These products have passed ISO 14067 carbon footprint verification and VOC emissions testing by Intertek in accordance with CDPH Standard Method V1.2. With ultra-low VOC emissions and formaldehyde release controlled at ≤ 0.1 mg/m³, they help reduce the impact of construction materials on indoor air quality and occupant health.
Local Production, Reliable Performance
OPTIMIX products are manufactured within a 100-kilometre radius of Hong Kong and use non-halogenated packaging materials, helping reduce transportation-related carbon emissions while supporting sustainable procurement.
For IN ONE, OPTIMIX also provided a comprehensive dry mortar system covering substrate preparation, wall levelling, tile installation and joint finishing. Products used include BP126 Base Plaster, SC216 Fine Skimcoat, TA338 High Performance Tile Adhesive, PC30 Premixed Concrete, together with the certified green products mentioned above.
From premixed concrete and wall levelling to tile fixing and grouting, the system helps improve substrate flatness, enhance tile adhesion and ensure consistent construction quality. These hidden layers beneath the final finishes play an important role in supporting building durability, living comfort and reduced long-term maintenance.
IN ONE represents a new stage of transit-oriented residential development, combining connectivity, quality living and sustainability. Looking ahead, OPTIMIX will continue to support Hong Kong’s major building projects with professional green products and reliable service, contributing to healthier, lower-carbon built environments.
